Below are the positions available to apply for. If a position is not listed currently, the server is not currently hiring for that role.
Helper [Moderation Team] Volunteer
Helpers are the first line of support for our players. You are expected to uphold the server's standards at all times.
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Maintain a minimum of 15 hours of in-game activity per week
- Be active and reachable on the TheSplashMC Discord
- Answer player questions in chat and Discord promptly and politely
- Monitor chat and address rule violations calmly and consistently
- Issue warnings and mutes in line with the server's punishment guidelines
- Follow all server rules at all times; you are held to a higher standard than regular players
- Treat every player fairly and without favouritism or bias
- Represent the server professionally both in-game and on Discord
- Accept feedback from senior staff and work to improve.
Java Plugin Developer Core Team
We're looking for an experienced Java developer to help build and maintain custom plugins that power the TheSplashMC experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Java
- 1+ years of experience with the Bukkit/Foila/Paper/Spigot API
- Basic to advanced understanding of NMS and packets
- Basic to advanced understanding of backend operations
- Available for 20–40 hours per week
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
