Hey guys!
There may be times when you need to record something, for example, evidence of hacking, but you don't have the recording software to do it. Many people don't know that your OS has an inbuilt feature to record your game.
FOR WINDOWS:
  1. Press Win + G to bring up the game bar
  2. Press ALT + Windows Button + R to start recording your screen
  3. Stop the recording by pressing ALT + Windows + R again
  4. The recording can be found in C:\Users\(Computer Name)\Videos\Captures
FOR MAC:
  1. Open QuickTime.
  2. Tap “File” at the top of the display.
  3. Choose “New Screen recording”
  4. Hit record.

I hope this will help you guys in the future when you need to record something quickly!

I do. Windows is build up on a copy of Linuxes kernel so the Windows one may actually work.

The windows one won’t work on Linux, Microsoft owns windows (obviously) and XBOX which is actually what the game bar is intended for

I did a bit of research and found a way to record on Linux Ubuntu. If you press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R, it records your screen for 30 seconds and saves the files into the video folder.

Note: I do not run Linux so I'm not 100% sure if this works.

Thanks! If someone with Linux could confirm this I’ll add it to the guide

Windows is a copy of Linux that has a different look with some original features. Even the windows exe format works for Linux.

Bugs wont help you become a staff member. I also have OBS open all the time as I have encountered hackers on multiple occasions, but didn't record and I want that to change.
